Search & keyboard shortcuts

When your hands are already on the keyboard, you shouldn't have to reach for the mouse to find something. ArtistHQ has a couple of shortcuts that get you anywhere fast.

The command palette

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere in the app to open the command palette.

From there you can:

• Search across everything — your shows, releases, contacts, crew, gear, tasks, and merch, all at once.
• Jump straight to a result — pick one and you land right on it.
• Run quick commands — navigate to a page or create a new item without clicking through menus.

Start typing and the list narrows as you go. It's the quickest way to reach a specific show or contact when you can half-remember the name.

Jump to search on a list

When you're already on a list page, press / to drop your cursor straight into the search box. No clicking — just start typing to filter what's in front of you.

Closing the palette

Done, or opened it by accident? Press Esc, or click anywhere outside it, and the palette closes.

A couple of habits

• Reach for Cmd+K / Ctrl+K instead of hunting through the sidebar — it's almost always faster.
• Use / when you're staying on the same page and just want to narrow the list.
