Plan limits & storage
Last updated 15 August 2026
Every plan sets two kinds of ceiling: how many of each thing you can keep in ArtistHQ, and how much file space you have for uploads. Here's exactly where the lines fall so nothing surprises you mid-tour.
What the Free tier includes
On Free you can store up to:
- 5 shows
- 15 contacts
- 3 products
- 2 releases
- 8 gear items
- 2 crew
- 10 documents
- 250 MB of file storage
Tasks are unlimited on every plan, including Free — you never hit a wall on your to-do list.
For seats, Free gives you 2 editors and 2 viewers. Editors can change things; viewers get a read-only look. More on who can do what in Inviting your band & roles.
Plus and Pro
Both paid plans lift every count limit to effectively unlimited — shows, contacts, products, releases, gear, crew, and documents. They differ in seats and file space:
- Plus — 10 editors, unlimited viewers, and 10 GB of file storage.
- Pro — unlimited editors and viewers, and 50 GB of file storage.
Ten gigs is plenty of room for stage plots, contracts, artwork, and photos; fifty is for rosters and long tour histories.
A note on exports
Exporting your data is not a paid feature. CSV export is free on every tier — pull roughly a dozen datasets from Settings -> Export whenever you like, so your data is always yours. (The one export that needs Plus or higher is the royalty CSV from performed setlists.) See Your data: export & deletion.
What happens at a limit
- Hit a count limit — say your 5th show on Free — and instead of adding another you'll see an upgrade prompt in place.
- When an upload would push you past your storage cap, the upload is blocked with a clear message explaining why. Storage caps apply to every tier, Free included.
Checking your usage
Go to Settings -> Subscription for a usage breakdown and a storage meter, so you can tell at a glance how much room is left on each limit.
When you're ready for more room, see Plans, billing & cancellation to upgrade. Questions about a specific cap? Email hello@artisthq.app.
